Cartier Philanthropy is a grant-making foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was created in 2012 to catalyse the Maison Cartier’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of the most vulnerable.
We partner with non-profit organisations that are impact-driven, excel in their fields of expertise, share our values of trust, integrity and respect, and whose programmes are aligned with the areas we care about most: access to basic services (water & sanitation, education, nutrition, primary healthcare); women’s social and economic development, the responsible management of natural resources; emergency response and preparedness.
We are primarily committed to the world’s least developed regions where the needs are greatest and people are most exposed and vulnerable to risks.
We work to help free everyone’s potential – our vision – removing the barriers that prevent people from acting and thriving.
Cartier Philanthropy currently works with 29 partners who implement 37 programmes in 26 low-income countries.
